Discovering what love is one day at a time
Pride is a roadblock to the unending supply of God’s grace. Pride sets us up as enemies to God.
Pride is a complainer. It sounds like “why me?” Pride flaunts, sets itself in the highest position, and says,
to God, that "your word is nice…but it doesn’t really work for me, or apply to me."
There are many more examples to what pride may look or sound like… but I think we all can relate to
having an issue with pride. (If you say you cannot relate, that is pride…just saying)
Have you ever felt like life would be easier if you could just know what was going to happen next?
What if by seeing ahead you could just prepare for the hard stuff or avoid it completely?
Reality is, we don’t know what is going to happen next, and daily we are confronted with situations and circumstances that we have no control of the outcome. But the truth is we do have control over our own response.
I have been married to my wonderful husband for 22 years. We have two boys ages 18 and 13.. This blog is somewhat of a journal and attempt for me to keep a purposeful perspective on life as a whole.
