Discovering what love is one day at a time
…God…The King of the Universe, The Creator, The Christ, The Messiah, Jesus is the same today yesterday and forever? What if His love is perfect and never fails... What if God is not a man that He should lie nor son of man that He should repent...What if God did away with sin…all sin…our sin on the cross… What if He meant what He said and He said what He meant when He said IT IS FINISHED…What if He is not mad at us, but is totally delighted with us. What if He were to call us His beloved, the apple of His eye, His sons and daughters and He loves us extravagantly….what if that is true even if we do not know Him…what if that is true even if we have no intention of ever wanting to know Him…What if His love suffers long and is kind…what if His love is not provoked…what if His love thinks no evil… What if as He is in this world so are we. What if we were sinners saved by Grace, but NOW Behold we are a new creation never seen in the world before. What if we have been given all things that pertain to godliness…and we are learning how to walk in them…what if we become what we behold…what if what a man thinks in his heart so is he…what if out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks….What if His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts… What if He has given us a Helper…The Holy Spirit...What if He will never leave us nor forsake us…What if He will not leave us orphans …What if The Holy Spirit leads us into all Truth… What if in Him we live and move and have our being…what if the Kingdom doesn’t come with observation, but it is in us. What if He is speaking to us today…. What if He is asking us to open up our hearts to Him …What if all the promises of God in Him are YES and in Him AMEN, to the glory of God through us…What if The Way of Life and the way of death are set before us, and we get to choose?
I have been married to my wonderful husband for 22 years. We have two boys ages 18 and 13.. This blog is somewhat of a journal and attempt for me to keep a purposeful perspective on life as a whole.
